One day, I was re-reading Philip Pullman. On my re-read, I was struck by the foreshadowing he used, and the vast amounts of symbols he had. Then I watched Simoun. I was struck again by the symbolism. I read about 50 pages of the gargantuan thread on the AnimeSuki forums, wasting much of my time. I proceeded to re-watch Noir for the third time as a series, and the fourth or fifth time specifically for episode 25. So many themes. So many questions. So many possible theories.
I decided that they needed to be condensed.
This here is my little enclosure in the internet world of the symbols, quotes, questions, and theories I have about the things I read and see. It will mostly be anime and books. Perhaps there will be TV shows. It is unlikely that there will ever be movies here.
